Ages: K-5 at MCC location and K-8 at VES and SES locations

Calendar: Program operates all days school is in session, including scheduled half days. If Mansfield Schools are closed due to inclement weather, the program is closed.

Program hours: Before School Hours (VES and SES ONLY) – 7:00am to start of school day. After school programs runs from school dismissal to 6:00pm. Transportation is provided from the elementary and middle schools to the Community Center.

Minimum days/week: Pre-registered Drop In available and any combination of consistent days per month.

Fee structure: Regularly scheduled days (by month) is $10.50 each morning/$13 each afternoon. Drop-In Rate is $12.50 each morning/$15 each afternoon. Fees vary from month to month based on the number of days/hours the program runs.

Special features: The After-School Friends Program offers a safe, fun and relaxed atmosphere for children at the end of the school day. The program is for children in grades K – 5 whose parents would like them to join special activities in a peer setting, or are unable to care for them after school. Participants are bused to the Community Center from their schools daily or have the option of staying at Vinton or Southeast Schools. The children are offered daily snacks and beverages upon arrival to the Community Center.
