The MOMS Club of Coventry/Mansfield: A group of local moms who meet during the day to socialize and discuss issues related to raising kids and family life. Includes playtime for kids and help keep moms connected to their community. Each month, the club meets at the Mansfield Library’s Buchanan Auditorium. http://themomsclubcm.weebly.com/

La Leche League: La Leche League is a wonderful place to learn about breastfeeding and get support before and during the time you are breastfeeding a baby. Come discuss the advantages of breastfeeding, solutions to common problems, and other topics of concern to nursing moms. http://www.lllct.org/

Town of Mansfield Youth Services Bureau: Mansfield’s YSB provides support groups for families dealing with various situations, including coping with divorce and learning challenges.

Eastern Connecticut Health Network’s Perinatal Education Classes: Held in Manchester and Vernon, ECHN holds various classes including prenatal exercise and mom-and-baby exercise, newborn massage classes, breastfeeding classes, sibling preparation, childbirth education classes, and more. Parent Groups at our Elementary Schools: Each Elementary School has an active PTO or PTA that allows parents an opportunity to become involved in their children’s education.
