Skateboard Park: come enjoy the newly completed skate park adjacent to the community center. Lights allow for night use. Free!

Tot Time: the gym at the Mansfield Community Center is set up with mats, ride-on toys, and other play elements perfect for the toddler and preschool crowd Monday through Friday from 9:30 to noon. Non-members pay the daily fee.

Parks & Rec kids’ activities and classes: check out the various offerings for art classes, sports activities, and more. http://www.mansfieldct.gov/content/1914/2861/6116/default.aspx.

Family Fun Nights: Check the Community Center’s website for the schedule of (more or less) monthly family fun nights. Both the large pool and the warmer therapy pool are open for family use, and the large pool often features inflatable slides and toys. The bouncy slide and tot toys are set up in the gym, as well as occasional theme nights (pirates!). Free for members, non-members pay monthly fee.

Child care: The Community Center also offers child care every morning and Monday to Thursday evenings for kids age 1-7. Check the website for details: http://www.mansfieldct.gov/content/1914/2861/7520/7532/default.aspx.

Bicentennial Pond: https://www.google.com/search?q=bicentennial+pond&oq=ibicentennial+&aqs=chrome.5.69i57j0l5.7494j0j4&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8. This pond and park area maintained by Mansfield Parks and Rec is open in the summer and has lifeguards at peak times. Brand new playscape, picnic tables, and restrooms also featured. Call the Community Center for details (860/429-3015). *Somewhat tricky to find- parking is located on Clover Mill Road; follow signs to the animal shelter.
